Pavagadh is a scenic hill station. It is a Municipality in the Panchmahal District. There is an area in Pavagadh called the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.
There is a temple of Mahakali in Pavagadh, which attracts a large number of devotees every day. This temple is at a height of 550 metres. These days, there is a ropeway provided for the devotees and after going through the ropeway, one has to climb 250 steps to reach the temple.
Pavagadh has as height of 822 metres and it offers many picturesque locations and waterfalls during monsoons. If you go further up from the Mahakali temple, you’ll find the Sadanshah Pir Dargah there.
There are 2 lakes in Pavagadh called the Teliya Talav and Dudhia Talav.
