Saputara is a Hill Station in the Dang District. It is also a Municipality.
Vansda National Park is located in Saputara and initially, it was a private forest of Maharaja of Vansada. The Park has an area of 24 km^2. The Park is small, but it has tiger, leopard, rusty-spotted cat, python, giant squirrel and four-horned antelope. One needs to take permission before visiting the Park.
The Saputara Lake is a famous and green spot and row boats and paddle boats are available for boating here. The Sunrise point offers a gorgeous view of Saputara. Because of its name, tourists visit the point only at sunrise, but the point offers a beautiful view of the city at any point of the day. Thus people are considering naming the point as Valley View Point.
